Serena obtained her LL.B. at Fudan University, one of China’s top law schools, and her LL.M. at the University of Chicago Law School, where she graduated at the top of her class.

Prior to joining MoNi, Serena was an associate at King & Wood Mallesons, one of China’s top law firms. She represented major banks in cross-border lending, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters. She also advised banks, financial institutions, and real estate companies in structured finance and securitization, including residential mortgage-backed securitization (RMBS), commercial mortgage-backed securitization (CMBS), and collateralized loan obligation (CLO).
