Associate
Jing is an associate at Morrow Ni LLP. Trained and qualified in both the United States and China, she represents clients in complex cross-border commercial disputes involving U.S. and Chinese parties. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation in California federal and state courts, ICDR and FINRA arbitration proceedings, and recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. She has argued before California state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, handled appeals before the California Courts of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit, and tried cases before a California state court jury and a FINRA panel.
Jing graduated from Harvard Law School with a focus on dispute resolution. She obtained her LL.B. from Fudan University in Shanghai, graduating with distinction and earning the Baker & McKenzie Scholarship.
Jing is a member of the California Bar and is licensed to practice law in China. Bilingual in English and Mandarin, she is fluent in both legal systems and business cultures of China and the United States. She uses her unique background to serve her clients effectively in cross-border dispute resolution.
Before joining Morrow Ni, Jing was an associate at JunHe LLP in Shanghai, one of China’s leading law firms, where she represented Fortune 500 multinationals, including Apple, Starbucks, and Nike, in litigation and arbitration before Chinese courts and arbitration tribunals, and advised on cross-border compliance matters.
She subsequently gained substantial California litigation experience at a California boutique firm, handling depositions, oral arguments, and all phases of court proceedings in California state courts. She brings those foundations in both Chinese and U.S. law and procedure to every cross-border dispute she handles.
