Morrow Ni LLP Partner Angus Ni and Associate Serena Yue Yang Win Summary Judgment for Nasdq-listed Cryptocurrency Treasury Company in Wyoming Chancery Court

In a first of its kind decision from the business litigation-focused Wyoming Chancery Court, Morrow Ni LLP attorneys Angus Ni and Serena Yue Yang today secured a complete summary judgment victory for our publicly-listed cryptocurrency treasury company client--with the court holding that a shareholder must be an "of record" holder of more than 5% of the company's shares (as in, listed on the books of the transfer agent as holding 5% or more), in order to access sensitive company records. This decision clarifies Wyoming corporate law, and makes it a more desirable jurisdiction for corporate domicile.
